How can I pay for my order? What payment methods do you accept?
We accept the following credit cards online: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. If you would like to pay by check or an ACH Bank transfer please email us and we will provide our banking information and corporate address. PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL US ANY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION OR PERSONAL BANK INFORMATION.
I don't see the brand I am looking for - can I still order it?
Yes!!! Due to our vast network of dog food distributors, we are able to order almost every brand/size of dog food. Please email us the information and we will provide an in-stock date as well as the discounted price.
Why are your prices cheaper than other stores and online retailers?
At Superbarket we strive to be able to provide dog food at a reasonable price to consumers. As dog owners we know how expensive it is to own a dog. Our goal is to try and reduce this cost. We do not have overhead costs like many other retailers so we are able to reduce the cost of our products. Customer satisfaction is our #1 goal and we do not believe in sales gimmicks, inflated shipping charges or overcharging a customer in any manner. Superbarket is committed to having a long term relationship with all of our customers.
Can I track my order online?
You may track your order by accessing your online account and viewing the order status and tracking information in the order history details. Once the order ships, an email confirmation is sent to you with order/tracking information.
Do you charge sales tax?
We are required by law to collect sales tax for orders delivered in the State of Virginia (where we are located). We do not charge sales tax on shipping - only the cost of the product.
When will my items ship? How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Delivery times are dependent upon product inventory status and delivery method. For all in-stock items (99% of our inventory), we ship all orders within 24hrs, however most are shipped the same day they are placed. For orders placed on Friday, Saturday, Sunday - they are shipped out on Monday and holidays are shipped out the next business day. In rare instances whan an in-stock item becomes unavailable after you have placed an order, you will be notified via email. Your credit card will never be charged for out of stock/backordered items until they are shipped to you.
Our preffered shipping provider is UPS, however we offer various shipping methods - UPS, Fedex, and USPS. You choose the shipping carrier as well as when you want the order to arrive.
Where do you ship to?
We currently ship orders within the 50 United States, Canada, APO/FPO addresses, PO Boxes, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. Delivery options/restrictions may apply by location and/or shipping provider.
Do I have to sign for my shipment?
We do request a signature for all fed-ex shipments. If you would like to ship via Fed-Ex and want to waive the signature, please just leave a comment in the special instrcutions box when finalizing your order. Thorough inspection must be made upon delivery and all damage noted on the delivery receipt. If a shipment is damaged, please REFUSE delivery and email us immediatley.
How is my shipping cost calculated?
Your shipping cost is calculated based on the total combined weight of all items, the weight of the shipping box (ranges from 1 - 3 lbs) and the address it is being shipped to. We do not increase shipping weights - if you buy a 33 lb bag of dog food - you are charged for 33 pds plus the weight of the box. You choose the delivery method/provider based on that weight. We do not inflate shipping costs. Total shipping costs will automatically display on the checkout page PRIOR to you submitting your credit card information and finalizing your order.
What is a backorder? Can I still order a backordered item?
A product is considered to be "backordered" when we no longer have any inventory on hand of that item. Yes - you can still order that item and it will be shipped to you once we have it back in stock. If you have multiple items in your order - those that are in stock will ship immediately and teh backordered items will ship as they become available. Your credit card will only be charged when items are shipped - therefore you may see multiple charges on your credit card statement - you will never be double billed or over billed. We will send periodic emails to let you know the status of your backordered item.
Can I change or cancel my order?
You can modify or cancel your order prior to the order being processed. Once you receive your shipment confirmation, it is too late to cancel the order.
Can I return or exchange an item? If so, what is your return policy?
Yes. Superbarket.com has a 30 Day Return/Exchange Policy.
If you are not completely satisfied with an item, you have 30 days to return/exchange it from the date your order was processed. The item must be in its original condition and unopened. DOG FOOD CAN NOT BE RETURNED - ONCE THE ITEM HAS BEEN OPENED. Please email us prior to shipping the package back to us so we can give you a Return Authorization # and shipping instrcutions. Items will not be accepted without the Return Authorization #.
All shipping costs associated with returning the product are NON-REFUNDABLE, unless the item(s) being returned is as a result of our error (defective item, wrong item sent, etc.) For your protection we encourage you to send your item prepaid via UPS or Fed-Ex. We do not accept COD. Save your shipping receipt and tracking # for proof or return delivery. We are not responsible for return packages that are lost or damaged by the return shipping company.
If you would like a refund, your original credit card used will be credited (for the amount of the item and any tax) once we receive your return. You will not be credited for the original cost to ship the item. If the refund is requested as a result of our error, than your entire purchase (including shipping) will be credited back to your credit card. When exchanging an item, you will see a credit on your credit card for the cost of the original item (not including shipping) and a new charge for the cost of the new item plus shipping charges. If the item is being exchanged due to an error caused by us (wrong item shipped) - you will not have any additional charges incurred (Superbarket pays for the shipping) and you will not see any charges/credits on your credit card.
